A Cornish mum living by the sea

blowing away the cobwebs

It feels good to be back blogging, I have had a few personal blogs but loose my way and stop.  However recently I have been off work poorly and had time to sit and have a jig about. It feels lovely to have a fresh updated place to share my thoughts and adventures.

What better way to start off this little space than a bit of a breather as I headed to the sea,  my place to blow away the cobwebs and have a ponder about things that maybe troubling me.

Everywhere was kissed by the Autumn hazy light.

The nice bit about being on my own without any little peeps is the chance to pause and take in everything without having to rush or snap a quick picture.  Anybody that knows me well knows I need to stop every few minutes and its not unusual for family to turn around to speak to me and I'm way back somewhere taking a photo of a window or door.

The image above is a perfect example of having time to pause and look,  I would not have noticed that there were some love locks hanging on the metal fence.  It really does pay to stop and look a little closer sometimes.  I loved finding these and wondering are these people local or visitors?
Was it a special occasion or a memory of someone they wanted to remember?

I want to own one of these beach huts they are super pretty. Pastel blue wood and framed with white they sit perfectly nestled in the cliffs behind

The wind against my face, breathing in the salty air and watching the waves crash against the rocks are all the things that bring me to the sea as well as the many colours, textures and shapes to photograph, all different every time you visit.

Now home with a steaming cuppa writing this while planning my next little ramble here and places to visit next time!!

It feels nice to have somewhere to document my "happy little moments" again.
